Books...

I am looking for recommendations for good books to read. They can be any sort of books...just so long as you've read them and enjoyed them. Why did you like them? Would it be something you could see me reading? I decided I should probably read more, and there are always so many choices...how's a girl to wade through them all?! Thanks for your help!

Okay I LOVED these. They're young adult novels, and they're by Libba Bray, the first is called "The Great and Terrible Beauty" and the second's called "Rebel Angels" and the third is called... I forgot cause I've been on the waiting list forever to get it and haven't gotten it yet. I really couldn't put the first two down. I don't want to ruin anything so if you want to know more look them up on amazon or b&n, they got great reviews. Those are my recommendations! AND anything by Shannon Hale, my favorites are "goose girl" and "Book of a thousand days."

So I may be a little weird but I love to read self-help/relationship books. I love Merilee Brown Boyack (deseret book) she just makes me laugh the whole way through the book. And Sheri Dew is pretty good too. If you haven't read the 5 love languages books (there is a normal, kids, couples, etc) read at least the normal one. I just read Confessions of an Unbalanced Woman and that was good- you can read it in an hour. Hope that helps!

I have NO idea what types of books you like to read, but I am an OVERLY avid reader (Honestly I have about 12 books waiting by my bed for me to read and I have finished 2 1/2 in the last 3 days - I'm what you'd rightly call obsessed.) Anyway, you should totally read the Twilight books by Stephenie Meyer. I also really enjoyed a great book called The Penderwicks by Jeanne Birdsall. They are all lighter reads that don't take a ton of time and leave you feeling happy. For some more in depth reading try The Thirteenth Tale by Dianne Setterfield. A very intriguing story that will surprise you and keep you very interested. Also I have a book blog you can check. It is linked on my blog at the top. Lots of people write their thoughts on books they have read so you could probably get some thoughts from there! Good luck! Let me know if you read Twilight! Also I second Erika's recommendation of Shannon Hale books. They are all fantastic! And Princess Academy was one of her best.
